The Amelia Island Book and Writers Festival
February 7th, 2010 | Author: AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. (January 28, 2010) – On Friday February 12, The Amelia Island Book Festival (AIBF) will open its 2010 series attracting both readers and authors to the popular Florida island destination.
There will be two days of programming and events in celebration of the written word, AIBF is a favorite event for families, with something for even the littlest readers. The Friday opening with feature a day-long Writers’ Workshop followed by an evening Story and Song Concert. Saturday’s free events and activities include an author bookstore, presentations, food booths and more. On Saturday evening the festival presents a special event with best-selling author Pat Conroy and his daughter, Melissa. More than 30 local, regional and nationally renowned authors will sign books and offer programs on a wide variety of topics.
