Showers, restrooms, picnic tables, concessions, putt putt, children&#8217;s playground, and beach front restaurant (Sandy Bottoms).</p>
<p><strong>Peter’s Point</strong> On South Fletcher Avenue, is a large Nassau County public beech with showers, restrooms, spacious parking, picnic tables, seasonal life guards and board walks to beach. There is a driving ramp to the beach, and driving is allowed with permit (including 4 wheel). </p>
<p><strong>Seaside Park</strong> At the end of Sadler Rd on Fletcher Avenue. Beach access and parking with some dune walkovers. There are no public facilities. Sliders is an oceanfront restaurant/bar, a local landmark, with outdoor tiki bar which is located there.</p>
<p>There are also many additional beach parking public accesses along Fletcher Ave south. between the City and Nassau county governments, there are plenty of beach accesses to choose from. through historic plantation structures, nature trails, sprawling<br />
oaks, and lush vegetation. Also located on the Island is the<br />
historic Kingsley Plantation.</p>

<p>Built in 1874, it is located on the northern end of Amelia<br />
Island. It was occupied by Confederate troops when the Civil War<br />
began but was taken by Federal troops when a withdrawal was ordered<br />
by General Robert E. Lee. The fort includes a beach, campgrounds,<br />
nature and hiking trails, and <a href="events.asp">historic<br />
re-enactments</a>.</p>

site campground. Catch a rare glimpse back in time by experiencing<br />
nature on one of the last remaining sea Islands along the Atlantic<br />
coast.</p>

<p>The park has more than five miles of beautiful, white sandy beaches,<br />
undisturbed salt marshes, and vegetated dunes. Maritime forests,<br />
desert-like dunes, and the salt marshes on the western side of the<br />
island allow endless hours of nature study and relaxation.</p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><strong>Atlantic Recreation Center</strong></span></p>
<p>Is located on Atlantic Avenue close to the ocean and the entrance<br />
to Fort Clinch State Park. Includes an auditorium, swimming pool,<br />
and baseball park. Many activities are available through the city<br />
including yoga classes, karate, Meet and Greet for seniors and<br />

<p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><strong>Central Park and Egan&#8217;s Creek Park</strong></span></p>
<p>Central Park Is located just east of downtown on Atlantic Avenue. It<br />
features basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball courts, picnic<br />
areas, and playgrounds for kids. Egan&#8217;s Creek park is located about<br />
1/2 mile from the ocean and has a baseball field, playgrounds for<br />
kids, and picnic area overlooking the scenic Egan&#8217;s Creek<br />
marshlands.</p>
