Backwater Fishing in the Nassau, Amelia rivers, and St. Mary’s Inlet as well as the many tidal marshes and estuaries can be very exciting and produce reds, speckled trout, flounder, blue fish, sheepshead, black drum, whiting, and others.
Surf Salt water fishing from the shore can produce whiting, redfish (reds or red bass), speckled trout, flounder, drum, blue fish, pompano, and many other varieties.
Fresh and Brackish Lofton, Mills, Plumbers, Thomas, and Boggy Creeks as well as the St. Marys and Nassau rivers offer superb large mouth bass, striped bass, catfish, and bream fishing.
