LEED Design for Hospitals – Two Case Studies (Amelia Island Museum of History)

Wild Amelia Nature Festival
A celebration of our local bioregion – May 21-23, 2010
Bring the family!
This exciting 3-day festival of our bioregion around Amelia Island, includes numerous nature tours led by area naturalists and Park Rangers, nature photography workshops taught by local professionals, a green business expo, The ‘Kids Niche’ nature-based activities for children, live music, critters from the Jacksonville Zoo, stargazing and more! This is the 4th year for the Wild Amelia Nature Festival. Last year the Nature Photography contest and classes were a big hit and those programs will be expanded this year. The winning photos included birds, flowers and landscapes.
Wild Amelia Nature Festival
Amelia River Green Cruise
Cruise the serene waters of the Amelia River at sunset while learning about residential green building from four different perspectives, those of architect, homeowner, builder, and rater. Meet at the historic Fernandina waterfront at 6:00pm on Monday, May 3rd for this one-hour cruise. Cost is $22/person and online registration closes April 30th.

Handicapped Shuttle service (free)
Dropoff/pick is at the SW corner of S. 2nd and Ash Streets. Fernandina Beach High School is the designated parking area for handicapped visitors. Parking is $10 per vehicle, free shuttle bus.
