Maria is a 5th generation native and her award winning work covers the entire US. She will be displaying her work at the Fernandina Beach 2010 Shrimp Festival in May, and has been awarded a prime location on 3rd street for this event.
Island Art Association – The Fernandina Beach Island Art Association, Inc., was organized for philanthropic and educational purposes. The two facets are the Co-op Gallery and the annual Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival Fine Arts & Crafts Show.
The Gallery is located in the charming historic district of Fernandina Beach, FL. Featured are a wide variety of art works and media by local artists. There is always something new to see since Nouveau Art in the South Hall, a themed and juried show is held bi-monthly. The gallery updated and rearranged with new art continuously. This gallery is owned and operated exclusively by the member artists.
